Music at All Saints

All Saints has a vibrant musical tradition - two choirs, all under the baton of Antony Matthews, our Director of Music.

The Parish Choir
The Parish Choir sings at the High Mass on Sunday morning, and at major feasts in the Church year (such as Midnight Mass, Ash Wednesday, and over Easter Weekend). Once a month we sing a full Choral Eucharist, and the other weeks we'll lead a congregational setting of the Mass and either a Communion Motet or a hymn.

The choir is aimed at anyone who can sing (most people) and who is willing – there’s no need to be able to read music, we’ll teach you what you need to know (the rest you don't!). Rehearsals are at 8pm on a Wednesday evening during term time, and at 10am on a Sunday morning when we’re singing.

If you’re interested or want some more information please talk to Antony after one of the High Mass on a Sunday morning, or email Antony.

The Sutton Chorale
The Sutton Chorale is a choir run by Antony and Martin French (Director of Music at St Mark’s, Woodcote), and is made up of singers from our parish choirs and a number of other local parish church choirs. With the Parish Choir, they sing Choral Evensong on the 1st Sunday of the month (except in August and September), lead our Carol Services, and members regularly augment the Parish Choir for special services; we regularly go to help out other churches around the London Borough of Sutton as well, and arrange tours to UK Cathedrals and Europe.

The choir is aimed at any enthusiastic singer; rehearsals are on Sundays at 4.30pm. If you’re interested or want some more information please talk to Martin or Antony after Evensong, or email; there’s some more information on the Sutton Chorale website.
