Music at All Saints
All Saints has a vibrant musical tradition, with a choir under the baton of Antony Matthews, our Director of Music.

The Parish Choir sings at the High Mass on Sunday morning, and at major feasts in the Church year (such as Midnight Mass, Ash Wednesday, and over Easter Weekend). At least twice a month we sing a full Choral Eucharist, and the other weeks we'll lead a congregational setting of the Mass and a Communion Motet.

The choir is aimed at anyone who can sing (most people) and who is willing – there’s no need to be able to read music, we’ll teach you what you need to know (the rest you don't!). Rehearsals are at 8pm on a Wednesday evening during term time (moving to Thursdays at 7pm from September), and at 10am on a Sunday morning when we’re singing. In addition to the volunteers, we also employ upto 8 Choral Scholars, singing soprano, alto, tenor and bass (aged 16 years upwards) who might be interested in studying music further.

We're always on the lookout for new singers - if you’re interested or want some more information please talk to Antony after one of the Masses on a Sunday morning, or email Antony.
