In light of how things seem to be moving across London with regard to the Omicron variant, Fr Daniel and I have made the difficult decision to move our two Crib and Christingle services to be online only.  We've made this decision because of the large number of children who would be present at those services.  We were so looking forward to being able to take part in these special services with you, but feel that the safety of everyone is obviously paramount.  We will, however, stream Crib and Christingle at 4.30pm and there will be a small invited congregation present, to help.

It's too late in the day to make several hundred Christingle kits and have them ready for collection prior to the services (as we did last year).  However, if you'd like to make a Christingle at home during the service (we'll be making one here in church!), you'll need the following:

  • 1 orange

  • red tape (electrical tape is good)

  • 4 cocktail sticks

  • some favourite sweets (or fruit!)

  • 1 candle (we will have some of these in church if you want to collect one before Christmas Eve).

We're really sorry about this, but feel that it's the right thing to do in the present circumstances and in light of the large number of children who would be present.  Please note that there are no changes to either Midnight Mass or Christmas Day and we look forward to seeing you at one of those services.

With our love and prayers,

Fr David and Fr Daniel
